Well,  I'm Jen.  I just turned 35 for the 4th year in a row and have a 7 year old son.  I was married for 8 years to Joe, who was killed in a car accident on August 20, 2005.  I am now married to Shawn, and also have welcomed my 13 year old stepson.  My son was diagnosed with autism 2 years ago, and it has been quite the learning experience for all of us.  I'll be dedicating a page in the near future to our journey with autism.  These last 3 years have been very very bittersweet as you'll see as you go through my site and blog.  There are so many issues that I want to address and advocate for and create support for that it's almost overwhelming to me.  I know that I still have a lot of healing and a huge, curvy, bumpy road ahead.  Too bad I can't drive it in that Alfa Romeo Spyder I've always wanted, but that's not how things work.  So, here we go, this is me!
